Living in the rugged north wesht.
Fiántas stands for wilderness, and with Fiántas I’ll let people experience Ireland’s wilderness in a safe and controlled way. After adventuring in mainland Europe, Scotland and Ireland for the last 12 years we decided to make the move to the north west of Ireland in 2024.
The main guide Thom spends his days hiking, rock climbing, wild camping and surfing in the north west. Originally from Groningen (in the Netherlands), his love for the outdoors started early while adventuring in France, Austria and Italy. This only grew vaster in Scotland and Ireland, and that love is exactly what Thom shares on his guided hikes.
Every hike is led with compassion for nature, wildlife and leave no trace. Group hikes will be guided by a pace that is suitable for everyone. And all the information and background on the local areas will be provided by our main guide Thom.
