Challenging
A steady climb up Slieve Carr, as the landscape opened out to west. We decided to camp next to the summit as there were perfect conditions for this. The sunset in the evening was biblical, with views towards Achill and Belmullet. The next morning we woke up on the mist covered mountain, and navigated our way back to the car.

A direct line up the ramp, gave us a first sighting of the bald hill. We were to be very lucky, because the peak wasn't to be covered in the mist. Thus we could enjoy the views towards Ireland's only fjord, Connemara, Achill island and Croagh Patrick. A very special view on a very special day.
